I found this work quite easy because we only had to draw and colour the face and we had drawn the eyes, nose and mouth beforehand so we just had to cut them off, colour them and glue them onto the face.

Narrative

Once upon a time there were two massive forests with a big awa separating the two forests, there was also two tribes one was called the Hunua Tribe and the Waitakare Tribe, one day the Waitakare Prince decided that he was hungry so he went down to the awa to catch some Kai but he forgot to bring his matou so he jumped into the river and picked up some food and put it in his kite then the Hunua Princess came down to the river as well the prince thought she was pretty so he asked her if she wanted to come back to his tribe with him she said yes and went willingly to his tribe but when the Princess's mum, Chief Dennis Hunua found out that the Princess had gone to the Waitakare tribe she was furious because she thought that they had kidnapped her and taken her to their tribe so she gathered up all the patupaiaretie in her tribe and trained them for battle when they were ready they marched to the Waitakare forest to battle for their Princess but the Waitakare tribe saw them coming to they quickly got ready for battle as well, they had a massive war and they made so much noise they woke mataahu and that's how all the hills and mountains were created but still they fought on but no one could win. Then they found out that the Princess chose to go to the other tribe so they stopped fighting and went back home.

I found this quite easy because I could remember most of the story but because I could only remember some of it I had to make up some. 

Interview

I found this a bit hard when I had to think of five questions but when I had to ask the questions I found it easy.  I liked this activity because it was hard at one point and then it got easier.

I found this work easy because with most of it I just had to copy onto the laptop and then its done. I think I could have made this better by putting more details into the answers.

I thought this was quite easy because I had already written my speech and I just had to copy some things from my actual speech and put them into my map.

I thought that this work was easy to write  but it  took me a while to get all the information and the photos.

Maths Evidence

WALT solve subtraction problems

To work out the question I did 400-200=200 and then I did 80-30=50 40-70=-30 so then instead of 50 its a 40 and I was left with a 30 so the answer is 9243.

I wish I had put more design into the background of my picture so that it looked allot better.  I was surprised at how my picture of Lucy turned out because it only took me about half a hour to draw.

This is my writing that I've been working on lately.I liked doing this work because I don't like writing long stories in books.I found it this work hard because I normally write long stories instead of littl stories.

How did the story make you feel?

Were there any funny or scary bits?

The scary bit was when the brother and sister swapped bodies but not brains and the funny bit was when the girl had to do ballet in the boys body which was not as bendy as the girls body.

The story made me feel confused and I got mixed up with who was who.

What did the story make you think about?

Did you learn anything from the story?

The story made me think about how much fun it would be tricking your sister by annoying her friends and make them not be friends any more.

I learned that Mah-Ha-Shins can’t fly on earth they can only fly on the  planet Chykka.

Would you recommend the book to a friend?  Why?

I would recommend this book to my friends because I love this author and I want them to know about it.

I am learning to identify and describe what the author wanted me to feel, think about or see.
