SALT Spelling Strategy
Spelling Graph Reflection
I am learning to learn how to spell new words and to use them in my writing and to use the SALT spelling strategy.
I am so proud of being able to use the SALT spelling strategy.
It can be tricky to find the little words inside of the word.
My Teacher can help you to understand the word.
The next step for me in my learning might be to try to learn harder words using the SALT spelling strategy.

The Manslaughter at Galipili
The Manslaughter at Gallipoli
It’s 3:30 am on the 25th of April 1915. I’m crammed into a landing boat like sardines in a can with thirty-nine other nervous men. I was so scared I was biting my fingernails. I could feel all the soldiers around me shaking uncontrollably .
BANG!! All of a sudden there was a flash of light from one of the battleships! “We’re EXPOSED!” shouted the Commander who was sitting up front. Suddenly bullets started showering the water. There were soldiers dying all around me.
I crawled through the dead bodies to the back of the landing boat. I threw a quick glance around me. There were only two people left alive in the boat. Without warning they both got shot and died in front of me. All of a sudden I also get shot in the shoulder. The force made me fall out the back of the boat from the shock and pain. My life flashed before my eyes. I’m
about to die. War is manslaughter, I thought as I sunk to the bottom of the ocean.

What is the Question?
I am learning to recognise the effect of multiplying and dividing a number by 10, 100 and 1,000.
I am so proud of being able to find all the answers to the question.
It can be tricky to divide the decimals.
My buddy could help me if I get stuck.
The next step for me in my learning would be to do this task but with a bigger number.
